Life Moves On…

Wow–It’s been over two months since my last post, and life has been rushing by faster than I feel like I am able to keep up. I’ll be graduating from Mines in less than 5 weeks, which is so hard to believe. God has worked in my life so amazingly through the past 4 years, and it’s all I can do to praise Him through all that He continues to lead and carry me through.

Over spring break (March 20-24), my eyes were opened to the needs around the Denver area as a group of us from Mines FCA served in downtown by visiting a care center, painting an apartment, and talking with homeless people as we handed out bagels. I was stretched and drawn deeper into my relationship with my loving Abba. I continue to cry out to Him for the lost and desperate people that I had the privilege of meeting two weeks ago.

I also accepted a job with JR Engineering almost two weeks ago, and I’m very excited about the opportunity to work in water resources with some great people! I pray that God will faithfully use me to minister throughout my employment there. And, I’m so thankful for His reassurance and peace about working there as I continue on this journey toward reaching the lost somewhere in Africa.

May my Lord continue to be honored as I trust Him and find satisfaction in Him! I look forward to sharing more of His faithfulness in and around my life to inspire and encourage you! Thanks for reading my blog. Maybe updates will be more frequent as I transition into this new area of life…But whether that happens or not, I pray that you would rejoice in God’s goodness and bless His name. What a great God He IS!

I will extol You, my God, O King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised,
And His greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts,
And I will tell of Your greatness.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness
And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.
The LORD is gracious and merciful;
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
The LORD is good to all,
And His mercies are over all His works.
All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD,
And Your godly ones shall bless You.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom
And talk of Your power;
To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts
And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
The LORD sustains all who fall
And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You,
And You give them their food in due time.
You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways
And kind in all His deeds.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry and will save them.
The LORD keeps all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.
My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD,
And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.

– Psalm 145
